The grounds around Celtic Park needed to be prepared for the start of the new season.  We were required to work to very strict deadlines and focused on ensuring the property was perfectly presented for large numbers of home and away fans.

In order to produce the results desired by the client, we returfed the lawn areas that had experienced considerable wear during the previous season. We then watered the turf morning and night to ensure it was well established and could cope with traffic demand from supporters.

All lawn areas were cut using high end commercial machinery with steel rollers that left a definitive stripe pattern. Since agreeing to work with Celtic we have been called in to prepare for selected events and high profile occasions such as the funeral of Billy McNeil.

LIDL was opening a new store in Hartlepool and required a company used to working and adhering to strict deadlines.  Our team worked long hours to ensure the grounds looked fantastic and the store opened on schedule.

We landscaped the external grounds, successfully completing extensive planting and turfing works to the exacting standards of the client.  We have since been contracted to landscape further stores in Newcastle and Larkhall.

We were tasked with preparing the grounds for the prestigious annual wedding fare in 2019. The Crossbasket team was impressed with our attention to detail and our ability to ensure the grounds were ready to welcome large volumes of visitors.

We manicured the lawns, sculpted ornamental shrubs/hedges, jet washed the hard standing areas and cultivated, edged and shaped the flower beds making for an impressive first impression for customers and first time visitors alike. We now provide Crossbasket Castle with ongoing grounds maintenance – a critical element of the estate’s management as it now hosts between one and three weddings per week.
